The mill closed in 1913 and the town of Graham was abandoned.
In the 1930's the original Catwalk and the water lines were demolished
and replaced by a new Catwalk by CCC workers.
Since 1967, the Whitewater Canyon site has been occupied by the Whitewater
National Recreation Area, and it's also the starting point of the Catwalk
National Recreation Trail.
