SAN DIEGO de JEMEZ ruins (as of 1920), founded early in the 17th
century at Gyusiwa pueblo, at that time the principal Jemez village.
The ruins stand (1920) half a mile north of Jemez Hot Springs--once a
massive building with walls 8 feet thick.
